I need to dice some oak into chips, and this really would be far easier ans safer with a bandsaw. Buying or even hiring is extortionate for something that might take 30mins or so  |

I'm guessing that you and I have different understanding of "chips" when in relation to wood: if I wanted woodchips, I'd throw some wood through a woodchipper... |

not got a chopsaw or tablesaw around thst you could use?
not as accurate as a bandsaw but might work for what you want. |

What do you want to do with the bits? Obviously if you're actually going to make dominos you'll need an accurate set up. |

I planning on taking a blow torch to them.
The bits I have don't take kindly to a chop saw. |
