Good morning

Does anyone know of anywhere online that I could buy a hare? I am desperate to try it, but our butcher can't source it.

Thanks in advance for your help.

If all other avenues fail, Donald Russell do hare saddle fillets and leg portions. Vastly overpriced and not as good as a whole hare, though.

Gosh, thats a poor butcher!

If there is another one nearby, try that. Sorry if that isn't much help, never bought hare online myself, I'm simply aghast at your butcher.

Oddly enough, in Welshpool it is the fishmonger who has the game license!

I think that's quite common. The two fishmongers we used to use in Oxford when I was a lad both sold game.

I'd get you one if you lived locally.

You need to seek out another shifty sort . Unfortunately you may well be looking for a tatooed man armed with a lurcher and a flat cap.
