It is looking pretty bad, but then in a society that pays sportspeople mases of money, but doesn't seem to value teachers, nurses and other such people who do worthy jobs, what can we expect. It might not be a bad thing in the long run, whats left might just have learnt from the mistakes and do a" better "job.

You know, it wouldn't take much for eugenics to be popular again, there are plenty of groups dancing around the ideal.

Yes, though unfortunately, I don't think that that scenario will happen soon enough to save us from the alternative,
