I thought I'd go down and check the fence before we move some of the cattle to some new grazing. The trouble is that I couldn't find the fence!

And I was stood upright when I took this picture.

Editors note: Rob R is the chieftain of the Wheredaheckarewe tribe known for their short stature and principally found living on the Yorkshire plains.

Related to the tribe we used to have a campfire stunt about who went around jumping up and down as they were running through the savannah.

Should you have used it for hay a bit earlier Rob?

No, it's some new SSSI grazing land & we have no idea what lurks beneath the grass, as we've never seen it without a crop on, so I wouldn't want to take a mower in there.

Time for the cows followed by sheep I would think. Might make a bit more impression than guinea pigs, or are only light footed animals allowed on it?

The schedule says grazing by up to head of cattle, but as we have small cattle I've turned 21 heifers and steers onto it, although I think it could do with a few more but that's all we've got available at the moment.
