What are these berries?

I went out to pick elderberries and blackberries this afternoon and noticed loads of these berries growing on a tree. Does anyone know what they are and if they are edible.

First glance to me (the leaves and the arrangement of berries) they look like a guelder rose and I rather think they aren't edible But I'm at the bottom of the ladder in this game so wait and see what others say first! That looks like it, thanks! I might try making some jelly or even a cordial with them but don't think I'll try tasting them raw

Oooh, I've been googled At best, they make a passable jelly. I've rather changed my opinion on them in recent years, I'm not especially a fan.
