I have just checked, and they are still there. Will they just go away or are they dead, do I have to remove them? Sorry to keep on but they are doing very well, and I don't want to lose them all.

You shouldn't have to pick them off. AFAICR they should wash off after a couple of dowsings or as Dpack said you could blast 'em with a hose. (Not too hard or yer beans will be gone too)
