If you're thinking about moving your business into selling online, Startups.co.uk is running a free (£5 deposit, refunded on attendance) course for potential business owners, with "ecommerce software specialist, Actinic":

"Based in Weybridge, Surrey (BR from London Waterloo), this FREE* course will cover:

- Getting your online proposition right
- Online marketing and online selling: the differences and the top tips
- General advice on payment, tax, overseas sales, shipping etc.

The course will concentrate on selling goods and services that are already available offline or over the phone, as this represents the biggest part of the internet sales market. "

First courses are 8th and 23rd Feb

(I have nothing to do with this company; I'm familiar with Startups which is a reputable publication for yep, start-ups, and thought this might be handy for some people here. Do look in to it carefully though, I can't give any recommendations!)

Sure, I'll do it this evening if that's OK, I've yet to put one in from scratch.

I think doubling them up would be useful. I for one don't always remember to check the events calendar. Sorry.

We treat this place like a hotel

You could just post up ones that look esp interesting, but then I don't suppose you're putting in anything uninteresting.

There isn't a lovely little techie thing that Jema or you can whizz up that will post the title of the last event somewhere, like a little ticker thing, with a link to the events diary, or something like that?

I just fear it'd be a lot more work if you post them all up separately, and you'll never keep those those hands Fairy-soft if you do.
