As soon as we've got the logo done I'll get some knocked up, to sell at cost.

Isn't "cost" an awful lot less than say I would be paying for a t-shirt anyway? e.g. would this make a few quid for the site in quite a benign fashion?

We don't do mens, but the ladies ones will be excellent non sweatshop produced 100% cotton T's.

None of the sold for priniting T's are much cop.

Cost will in fact be a lot more than we could buy a crappy t-shirt and get it printed for.

Ours are produced in a factory that we've dealt with for over 20 years, owned by a very nice couple, we pay them a fair price, this means that in market terms they are VERY expensive.

What? 12quid, 20 quid? That's what I could pay for a surf T-shirt, although I get most of mine from TK max.

Let's put it like this, the t-shirt that I have in mind comes into us at 3.00 undecorated, with a 4 colour print that'd be around 3.50, this means a retail price in somewhere like Gap of 20.00, so they go to Myanmar or Vietnam and get a similar garment produced for around 1.25-1.50 and sell it for 10.00-12.00.

Men's t-shirts would be around 4.00 but not workable as we don't already have them in work.

Couple of questions?

Isn't it a major issue if you can't do mens?

The prices you mention are quite similar to "pier 32 eco -clothing" who seem to be making the right ethical noises, are you saying you don't rate their product?

It's just I had the ideal T-shirt in mind for the ladies, don't look like there's many takers yet though

I think it's sexist, you just want to know all their bra sizes.

Sorry - not much of a slogan wearer either. And I've already got a drawer full of T-shirts.
