Hi my name is Debra Brooks, I live in Reading Pennsylvania USA, with my hubby Alan and my service dog, a deerhead Chihuahua, named cinnamon. I am 48 and into wild edibles, and herbs, as well as medicinal wild herbs. I grew up on a large cattle and chicken farm. I am a artist, I draw and paint, and now do digital photography, I also fix old scanned photos for ppl. I hope by next spring to have my own medicinal, wild edibles shop up and running. I have M.S. so I get around with a cane these days, I love the woods and outdoors and I am into mycology, well I am a beginner but learning fast. I hope to get to know some new ppl and make some new friends. |

Greetings from (today) a soggy Somerset in the south west of England. Haven't been to Reading but we lived in Northern Virginia for 3 years and visited Amish country & Gettysburg & Philly - and skied Seven Springs in Somerset PA!
You'll find much to interest, inform and infuriate on DS! |

hello ,welcome .
we have a few herbalists on the site and quite a lot of foragers as well as folk who can ask and answer most critter, off grid, diy, small business, ethical, environmental etc etc etc questions.
a poke about in the archives will demonstrate how diverse and how collective we are
some of us have met ,some of us haven't but from those i have met we are pretty much like we are online. |
