Well I count as 3 (Myself plus 2 mad women - Claire and Cheryl) - The Menfolk are going off hunting with the kids or whatever it is that menfolk do when left to their own devices!

i am going to show you how to make a standard victorian style. however i will also show you how to adapt the pattern to suit other styles. as for fabric. the "corset kit" will provide everything you need for your own corset. however. you can go and get your own afterwards if you prefer. you will be given a lits of componants while we are there. different styles will require different componants and amounts. untill you make up a pattern you never eally know how mant bones, lengths of amount of fabric you need. it would prove pointless to go out and buy all the steels you think you will need only to find out they are a centermeter too long or short. personally i am rather fond of imitation whale bone. it comes on a roll and moves like real whale bone. but some may prefer all steel. personally speaking they both have their pros and cons.....anyway i will stop now or i will have nothing to tell you at the time.

jamanda, i have not got any plum as yet but to be honest i haven't really done the shopping for it all due to not knowing how much i need to buy. i will check. i do however have black in both coutil and silk.

note book and pen... ooh and if any of you have yoyur own tape measure and sharp scissors that would be helpful. and of course and old sheet. (this will become your toile)

Righto - Helen I won't see Claire till Friday can I let you know then whether we want packs or not or is that too late ?
