For you, that sounds like it's true. It's not true for me at the moment, though. The washing up is a huge mental block for me at the moment - dirty washing up is just so much clutter, as are clean dishes drip-drying. Being able to stick it piecemeal in to the dishwasher as I go along through the day whilst wrangling the children in another room is a godsend.
I really never thought I'd say that, though - it's an appliance that I would never have chosen to have myself, but now one is here ... . I need to reclaim my OWL, though, and see how much it's costing us. The oil-heated hot water has to run from the other end of the house through badly insulated pipework to get to the kitchen - not sure how that compares with the dishwasher heating it. |
