I'm thinking of grafting the aubergines to tomato rootstocks this year as an insurance against another indifferent summer.

Has anyone got any recommendations for a suitable rootstock variety?

I was thinking of using Oregon Spring as it is early and I've still got seed left cos the taste wasn't up to much.

You've just broken my dream, I dreamt about aubergines lying rotten in with the tomatoes in the greenhouse...weird.
