I'm in a special needs area AND paid more taxm. Itd be a disaster if I didn't.

according to their own map, WE'RE in a special needs area! And maybe if we got some of the help apparently going to non-professional land managers, we'd be paying some decent tax before long

The paperwork encouraged people to pick up the phone and discuss it with the local rep. And to state you'd discussed your plans. This discussion and his/her backing would add to your case.

it only adds to your case if you're in their unofficial target area - you know, not the one on the map they provide, the one they decide on in secret.

Forgot to finish this off. No, I didn't get any, it was over subscribed, and as I wasn't already claiming any grants, I didn't need any more.

However, they've just rung. More money has been added to the fund, and they're ringing round the people who got told no. Do you still want money, can you spend it by February? New offers go out next week.

So, make sure you answer your phones, or give them a ring. Was Natural England in Nottingham.

Did you get it approved ? Have u got it installed ?

I did get this funding I the end. I got a money towards pasture pumps, a ram pump, pipe work to get mains water, gateways, troughs and electric fencing. I'm not part of any CSS, or anything else. My advice would be to talk to yor local rep, and get him to tell you what you can apply for, and then use his recommendation.

I can have about five grand, which will go along way to supplying much of the above, I'm aiming to get a solar pump, rather than a ram pump.
