Hello all, I'm Paul, two years ago we bought a small farm in Abruzzo, 12 acres, that's me, my wife, a failed guide dog called Ace and more recently a "bastardo" mongrel called nido. We spent the first year running around trying to get permission to re-furbish the house and have spent the second trying to organise a new one after it was damaged beyond repair by an earthquake. We are now living in a camper van on our land. We have no experience in farming other than reading John Seymour. With all the housing problems we have had to neglect the animal side of things but today bought a cockerill. We think it's a bit shocked as it hasn't ventured outside all day. Hoping it cheers up as tomorrow we are going to market to buy some hens.

Hi there. I'm imagining a cockerel with an Italian accent now.
