GG

I finally finished it about 3 weeks ago, sewed it up enough to wear it & decided that the 'off the shoulder' look was a bit of a pain so did a bit more sewing together around the neck.

And what do you mean already - it's taken me forever!!

I estimated that one sleeve took about 20hours - it just went on and on and on. And it isn't even as long as I was hoping!! My swatch must have been off (if I did one!)

Judith
I would recommend doing a swatch just to check because I really think I didn't bother!!

Why break the habit of a lifetime?

I am amazed how different yours looks to the one in the pattern (and I prefer yours too)

Thank you.

I am proud of myself every time I manage something that finally ends up like something I like & despite me expecting it to be longer am pleased with it and will definitely wear it loads.

I am looking forward to seeing yours.

BY the way for that, you are my new ds favourite!!!

Yes, it was floating about as I had to finish the sewing up.

BTW, I weighed my completed garment - it is 169g of 2ply.

Excellent. I should have plenty in that bag of yarn I brought back from the weekend (thank you to Bibbster / Dogwalker - I'm not sure who donated it).
