Hi everyone,

Have you got garden waste, access to biomass or a waste stream you'd like to burn? If you have, then you could build you're very own sustainable biomass boiler for under 200 quid using old gas bottles and scrap parts and then use it to help heat your house, workshop or greenhouse etc.

Check this out if you'd like to know more:

please post comments good or bad

Its a vented system so it's totally safe! I promise.

Take care,

Dolph

I stuff as much as will burn in my stove. It is my own personal, indoor biomass boiler.

Its the high pressure steam part that worries me.
I thought high pressure boilers had to be independently pressure tested?

They should have the design approved, and the final vessel should be inspected, pressure tested and improved. They should also be fitted with a relief valve that is checked every year (this is part of your annual boiler check).

Lots of people where killed in the early days of high pressure boilers until organisations like ASME brought in boiler codes in an effort to improve design and fabrication, and hence safety.
