Wall to wall rabbits here, inspite of my best efforts.

Strange isn't it - I am about 2 miles from Bodger and we have a had aresident population of 3 rabbits for the last 13 years - never more of less.

Bodger (and others) who live on the other side of the main road will have lots because he has got all our soil! Someone must have it becasue we haven't

I'll bring you some soil and some rabbits.
Forget your lack of rabbits Dot. You're surrounded by thousands of pheasants that have been put down by a pillock who hasn't got a clue. I have to slow down when I drive past your place, so that I don't mow dozens of them down.

Actually, I think that is rather unfair - have you met the guy running the shoot? He is very knowledgable and has some really good ideas as to how to make it pay. I really hope he makes a go of it. Much better to have the shoot managed than go to rack and ruin as it has for most of the last 10 years.

But yes, there is plenty of roadkill about if you can stop when you see it.

He's putting down approximately three times the amount that the previous keepers put down on the shoot. Having beaten on it for many years and IMO, my comments are informed and fair.
