Not sure where to put this thread, so please move it if necessary.

Myself and some colleagues have been working together to collate a recipe book that we will print and sell at work and home to friends, family and colleagues. We will be selling the book in aid of a newly-established charity, here in Newcastle.

Some of you may know a little about it if you watch The One Show. Daft as a Brush was set up by a local businessman when he sold his mansion and moved himself and his wife into a mid-terraced house. The proceeds are being used to establish a fleet of 'ambulances' (with volunteer drivers and companions) to take cancer patients to hospital for treatment, free of charge. The area covered by the Freeman hospital in Newcastle extends from the borders to the Yorkshire Dales, so this service is a huge help for patients and their families who would otherwise have potentially long, expensive and uncomfortable journeys to make.

While we've used many of our own recipes and have been given others to use, we could still do with more (especially side dishes, starters and desserts). Printing costs have worked out favourably, so we're able to include more recipes than we anticipated, hence the need for more.

I'd be grateful if anyone on DS who'd like to help. All I need are recipes; if they have photos of the finished masterpiece, even better. I'll need your name too as we will credit each recipe. If you have added recipes to the database on here and would allow me to use it, please PM me with your recipe name and your name. Otherwise, please PM me with your recipes.

And lastly, I'll post details nearer the time of the book itself in case any of you would like to purchase a copy.

Thanks for reading this, and I'm hopeful that some of you will be willing to help a good cause.

It might be easier for you to choose which recipes you want to include & then contact the members via PM.
I doubt anyone would object for a worthy cause.

What, you can cook?

Could someone own up to these three recipes please. I put them into the database but they were submitted by other people.

Irish lemon pudding
raspberry gelato
risotto alla milanese

I have to go out and will be busy in the morning but I will try and find out myself sometime tomorrow, if no one has claimed them.

Sean is the risotto yours?

I've a couple on Tay's list like that.

Gluten free crumble and lemon linguine. I was just about to do searchy things.

The risotto might be Jonnyboy's. It's a pretty classic recipe though.
