I admit to being addicted to these darned cookery competition programmes

I really felt for that poor guy who's pudding went badly wrong tonight.

Am I the only one watching?
Pookie? Or is it just the baking ones that tickle your tastebuds?

Not a clue yet who's going to win tho' that poached pear with the praline oozing out of the middle when it was cut looked fantastic!

Just finished watching it - saved it from earlier...so guilty too....

Want to try the beetroot and raspberry sorbet.

I used to watch it between shifts on a Sunday back when it was presented by Lloyd Grossman. I've just found the 1996 Masterchef recipe book if anyone wants dated-but-ambitious recipes for the amateur cook.

ooh I missed it! I don't often look at what's on, it's just when someone talks about it that I get lured in! Otherwise I am in blissful ignorance

I do love any cookery programmes, and could watch them day and night, hence the not looking
Maybe I could treat myself to tonights episode on i-player......

Medallion of Ostrich stuffed with Scallops, served with a Tortellini of Turnip Tops and a Cardamom and Vanilla Sauce. Anybody?

As we don't have a TV, that's what I do.
I rather liked the look of the mushroom ravioli.

My oldest friend and I have often spent the entire programme giggling about the amounto of words they can find to replace the word "sauce".
we have had, foam, emulsion, reduction, jus, coulis, to name a few...

I rather hope the tough Security guy from Stockport (or was it Southport) wins.

I liked his food, it was big!
