anyone read it ? by Guy Sajer, a very good book about a 17 year old fighting in Russia during WW2, apparently some students made a low budget film about, anyone know where I can find that ?

Yes, it's a brilliant book. I'd send it to you, but it's at my folks & we're not communicating at the moment! edit: not seen the film however.

Ive got the book lol, 2/3rds of the way through, very moving, my grandfather was a German soldier of the same age, though he was in France
