Your allotment sounds fantastic Jeff If you're not going to have it for long, I wouldn't invest in any expensive long-term fruits unless you can easily take them with you when you move elsewhere.

GJ, I will plant whatever I can as long as I get a good crop within a year or 2 and I will try to always take cuttings etc when I do move on so I'm not affraid to spend a bit of money if the reward is just.

+ I've got my mistery fruit trees to look forward to as well, (reminds me:must post pic on here for recognition )

Tell me about it, 4 hours on the allotment on Saturday 'Vs' 8 hours decorating on Sunday, there's something very wrong about that
