My phone is annoying me, so I am in the market for a replacement, and I thought I'd see if any of you have one surplus that you'd like to sell on.
I don't think a smartphone would survive, and I do not think I particularly need one. It is nice to be able to look in on the forums on a teabreak in the field, but a phone does not need to be particularly smart to do that.
I do use my phone to connect the laptop to t'internet so I do want one that has 3G and bluetooth, and I have thus far generally preferred Nokia phones.

There is obviously no end of choice on eBay, but frankly, there is just too much.
Anybody got owt?
Or recommend anything in particular?

Your brave HL, my old Nokia is only a phone! and gets funny looks when I park it on the table in front of me when out ... sadly I dropped it and the speaker now sometimes sounds a bit tinny? So of late I've been thinking about heading down the same road as you and Rob ...
As a side and not meaning to hijack your thread, can you put a simple PAYG sim into these smart phones and work the DATA side on WiFi only?
