Hello,

I'm currently in the pre-production phase of my new documentary about the woodfuel industry, and it's been amazing to find that many key people in the industry are only too pleased to help. What started out as something looking into the state of the industry in England has attracted comments and ideas from the U.S., Belgium, Poland, and even Zambia!

Although I'm at an early stage, I know I want to cover the complete supply chain from woodland owner to end-user, and everyone in between from manufacturers to architects to quality assurers.

Although focussing more on industrial projects, does anyone here have experience with the industry as an outsider? If so, how have you found it? Was securing a pellet / chip supply easy and cost-effective? Do you feel that woodfuel is still largely unknown (and I'm not talking about a few logs for the stove)!

If you would like to know more, or want to keep up-to-date with the process of creating this documentary, then please visit https://facebook.com/woodfuel.heating.the.nation

All the best,
David
