My young redcurrant bush has produced two or maybe even three good handfuls of berries this year.

Any suggestions as to what I could do with them?

Shame my raspberries are autumn ones

Is there some sort of savory fridge jam type thing I could make to serve with meat? I guess I could buy more redcurrants to add to mine, but I'd rather just make one servings worth using just mine.

Or I could do muffins...

Stew them gently in a little water, add butter, salt and pepper for a Cumberland sauce.

Drop a few of them into sponge mix and make real fruit buns.

Or freeze until the raspberries are ready!

I always struggled to use redcurrants - and only ended up mixing them with other things to use them up or making redcurrant jelly In the end I dug up the bush and had more blackcurrants.
