Vax Hoover & brooms for curling. At a pinch you could use a wheeled mop bucket instead of Hoover (eco friendly because no electric needed)

Hmmmmm... freshly ironed sheets....lovely!

The down side of my job is I'm covering 1100 miles, Monday to Friday, this week. The upside is freshly ironed sheets on each night.

No space. It lives in the futility cupboard. Wall space in the house is sacred to bookshelves.

Wall space in the house is sacred to bookshelves.

And so it should be. Our house is on the market so we've had to put loads of books in storage. Pains me.....

I no longer have a proper ironing board. I have a top part which I can put on a table or other surface and an old floor tile to stand the iron on. I find this works equally well on the rare occasions when I need to iron something and has the advantage of not falling on me every time I go into the futility room.
