100 on the nose.

(What) I’m a full time artist/printmaker, specialising in the reduction method of linocutting. I produce limited editions (up to 30 prints an edition) of original prints, from my studio overlooking the Ogwen Valley in North Wales.

(How) I use a ‘nipping’ press for my smaller work and oversize prints are meticulously hand burnished. I produce some monochrome work but many prints use between 5 and 12 colours.

(Why) My passion is to make linocut prints acceptable as serious works of art, as expressive, adaptive, flexible and exciting as any other. My inspiration is the North Wales landscape.
