Need to come up with cheap ideas for drawer pulls/cupboard handles, I'm toying with three ideas:
1. Copper tubing
Got a few random bits of pipe kying around, thinking that with a couple of brackets like this it'd be quite easy, just worried about how easily dented they may become in use
2. Leather belt
I have at least one leather belt that could be cut up to turn into strap like/loop type handles, just wondering how to actually make a nice job of fixing them
3. Webbing belt
Wasn't a soul boy so don't actually own one, but they're pretty cheap to buy. Fixing issues as above
Your thoughts welcome

How often do you intend to hit your door handles hard enough to dent copper pipe?
I used a little bit cut off the end of a plastic wine syphon tube and for the leather belt idea, a brass screw through the belt, thread the plastic tube on and screw onto the drawer.
