Not quite frost here yet, but certainly close to, and wind making it feel very cold, even in the sunshine. Neighbour's cat (who usually barely passes the time of day) came scratching at door this morning and has been curled up in front of radiator all day (even when it was off!). Suspect I'll remain NBF till the weather gets warmer!

Does anyone know where I can buy a thermometer that records the lowest temp during the night and the highest temp during the day........or even one that just records temps at set points throughout the day?! Thanks

Our cold spell has been delayed until Thursday. Saturday will have a maximum of 4.2 and a minimum of -5.1 with freezing fog, and Sunday night is -6.8. At least the garden is prepared.

i recently got a cheap electronic outdoor/indoor one from lidl!

it has a clock
it has a temp sensor n its body - that does present temp and max and min - and one on a probe that you can put outside - it does max and min for both

the probey bit can be used outside but is also quite useful for putting in a fermentation cupboard to see what is going on tempertaure wise in there!

hang on in there and keep eyes open - lidl specials usually reappear after a few months!

had frost for about 3 days. stays cold but the sun comes out so its not to bad

moth and ladybird are seeking my warmth ,fools , i have warm clothes so no heating here yet .
