I recently went on a taster course for Illustrator and found it quite handy and better for me to do labels to pass to the printers.
I have already downloaded a free version of CS suite but this doesnt have Illustrator on it.
Ive been googling free Illustrator downloads, BUT -
how do I know they are genuine and how do I know its not just a free trial?

unless it is from the maker or a trusted friend who knows what it is the old adage "beware of geeks bearing gifts" seems to be a place to start with a lot of freeware.

do adobe do a free trial version which then reverts to a home version with reduced fancy bits? (good job spell checker saved me )

my ps cs3 is a bit old but has all the bits,it wasnt cheap but it probably is now ,however it does all i need it to and could do most things i could want to do,is it worth buying the original discs of an older version?mine is a cached download so i cant help with the discs.

here you go

cs2 kit is now free ,you use it ,you like it ,you might buy cs5 or whatever is the latest one

PS EDIT WITH ANY DOWNLOADED SOFTWARE TIS ALWAYS WORTH LETTING THE ANTIVIRUS HAVE A QUICK LOOK AT IT IN THE SANDBOX BEFORE INSTALLING IT PROPERLY

Thanks - little message has popped up - publisher could not be verified. Do you want to run it?

,norton was/is a bit ummm ,sloppy.

it should either still be in your download file or it might have saved to documents.before it would appear in programs it would need to be installed.

give me a little while i will download it and check it for unpleasant things.
