Garlic is doing nicely (planted in November), Charlotte and Sharpes Express earlies, peas and 2 types of shallots.
In pots or trays in the greenhouse:
2 types of Peas, Broad Beans, 6 types of Tomatoes, 4 types of Chilli, Golden Berry, Courgettes, Leeks, , Jerusalem Artichoke, Swiss Chard, Spinach, Brussel Sprouts, Calabresse, Cos Lettuce.
Outside: Reedmace.

I'm a bad person who heats his greenhouse but I justify it in the amount I can get growing early - thats why I sow so much to keep the greenhouse full.

Edited: I should have included Beetroot.

Spent a happy hour yesterday pricking out the tomatoes and chillis into 3ins pots.

That's good to know. I haven't grown anything for a couple of years, so I'm a bit rusty.

Not much planting, but with help from son Sean we have tidied, dug a lot, made a large planter on legs from old decking, repaired the storm damaged shed and put up netting for peas and beans.

Just put 10 spuds in and some chard, but it's old seed so it may not come to anything.

Nothing yet. Watch this space !

I did plant a load of spring flower bulbs (very late), and the tulips are coming up.
I also have a couple of apple trees I grafted which should have long been planted, but where ? They don't fit where they were supposed to.[/i]

First 3 rows of spinach, some coriander, spuds very soon, & then whatever the weather lets us put in

In other news, 6 goose eggs in the incubator...maybe we'll have more success this year

My psb and kale seeds are up and have been transferred to a sunny windowsill, but no sun at the moment for them. I noticed the vine in the greenhouse had started budding yesterday.

More fun with soil blocking - this time the piddly cm cubes:

potting on 160 lettuce seedlings

sowing 320 carrots and 160 parsnips enough to allow for failed germination I hope
