I have spent the last week wandering the garden and sighing. What with battling the pekins for the veg, the lack of rain has made my garden look sad and droopy. I water twice a day but they always look a bit limp, Water and feed, give them an hour and springy happy veg. This morning they are bouncing and happy and all round better......

and everything seems to be in flower today.....

happy happy.....
ps, is it always wrong to punt a pekin back over the poultry fence?

It's grey and drizzly here too: I got wet jsut forcing my way through the rampant herbage to open the polytunnel!

And perhaps a drop kick would be more appropriate...

I think my beans may be trying to take over the world. they have moved on from the trellis and up the nearby tree. And there are several hundred tiny beans looking at me.
