It's not a fruit or nut tree.

We routinely have apple trees around that size topple over. I'll give you a shout.

Small, slowly, and a bit bushy.

There's an apple on the ground right now, having looked. What's the plan, your man comes and cuts, or what?

He needs them delivered in to him, he's in Welshpool, I'd be happy to pay for it to be cut and delivered (it's not rotten is it?)...

Dunno. It's the other side of Jim's orchard. I suspect it's just fallen over cos it had lot of leaves and apples and very boggy ground, so just toppled. One or three go every year.

I'll go have a look. Does he need it planked, or just the trunk turning up?

I know it's not necessarily in the spirit of the thing, but we have a wonderful rare wood supplier nearby

It'd be great if we can do it just by people we know, but they might come in handy if we get stuck.

Thanks

Well Nick's just sorted you for a couple of square feet so you're practically there really.

Dunno. Haven't checked how big it is yet. Tahir is usually concerned about girth when it comes to checking out other men's wood.
