Since arriving last week my 4 hens haven't laid a single egg. is that ok?

What are they again and how old? If they are point-of-lay then they don't read from the same advert and can take quite a while. As it's getting darker they may reduce laying and the shock of a move can cause an interruption.

from your picture they look like Hampshires and they look like pullets of about 5 months of age. If I am correct you could start seeing eggs any day. Just make sure they have plenty of water and if you arent feeding layer pellets of some type make sure they have some oyster shell and some grit of some type so they can handle the unprocessed grains you will give them and the shell for egg shell formation. If these hens are older they may be in molt in which case to get them to laying again you will need to feed them well and provide 15 hours of light.

Hi 2steps, from 8 girls we are getting between 3-4 eggs per day.

One of our hens, Dottie, has not started laying at all yet and she is about 27 weeks old now. She will start in her own good time, bless her.
