iTunes here. Though I'm running an oldish version without too much Stupid Added Functionality That No-one in Their Right Mind Actually Wants.TM.

I have what was once a fantastic creative zen one. The software however is no longer available and I cannot upload anymore music on it. It's stuck in a timewarp. It's probably me but I will have to buy something new sooner or later.

Apple software drives me up the wall. My daughter sometimes uses the laptop and then it insists on sticking itself into start up and asks me to update with some nonsense all the time. I appreciate that this is also a daughter problem.

Spotify, as it plays local files as well as theirs.

It's got Slightly Confused with xx by the Xx, and split the album into several phantom albums. Other than that, it's all working loverly.

i-tunes.
I've just put our entire CD collection onto a memory stick which we can play through the TV.

I have removed the 90's hifi which took up an enormous amount of room and removed the heap of CDs.

It's like magic.

But does the TV or docking taxation etc have the same sound quality, I've been less than impressed by a lot of them to the point of not bothering.

I would like to get something so I could listen to radio programmes when I want. I'd love an iPod Touch but I believe you can only get the internet where there is a wireless connection. My iMac has wireless capabilities but as I'm not in the habit of lugging the great thing downstairs, I haven't got wireless router set up.

Would I be able to get podcasts on it and how?

Otherwise, what are these Pure Dab 2000s like anyone? You can record radio on them and they have replaceable batteries too?

Any ideas on what i can do? I have downloaded some of my CDs onto my Blackberry as a starter.

I don't listen to music. Solves a whole load of choice issues.

That's not a bad idea, solves a lot of problems, but I do like to listen to 'talking' programmes and radio plays.
