I made some bags out of cat food pouches. Easy to do, open the pouch at the bottom by carefully cutting an opening in the gusset to remove the food, this does not damage the pouch. Wash them out and sew them together, put a lining in and make handles with the same fabric.

Anyone else fancy having a go.

That's very good. Could you possibly take a few photos of the making process then we could make it into an article?

I don't have a cat. I'm trying to thing what other things come in pouches.

I wonder if I could combine interesting food pouches and the lining bags from wineboxes?

Quite a few ladies around my way make them with coffee bags. I've seen them with kiddies juice pouches too.

C&C - they are fabulous - I am so jealous of people who can craft. I reckon they'd sell really well.

They remind me of Doybags Well done you for doing your own though! I don't think the 15Kg bags for dried cat food we get would work as well!!

I have just made another bag, it's on my blog, with a tutorial if anyone wants to try it.
