hi i have some baby ducklings how old should they be when i take the heat lamp away, and when will it be safe to put them out side in there run.

With the weather that we are having, I'd leave them some heat until they are reasonably well feathered. Nights are cold right now but if we have a warm day, you can see how they go without.
In the summer, this can obviously be brought forward.

They can drown in the early days, if they hatched from an incubator. It's to do with the mother washing and waterproofing their feathers?
