It will be lethal for me to check here often as I can see my menagerie (probably spelt wrong!) growing.

Anyway lots of people seem to have livestock for sale, or farming related equipment and machinery and a few people are looking for things. Please can I offer the services of our farming and smallholder website at https://www.gofarmer.com You can list any type of livestock for sale, farm machinery, produce, farm shops, B&Bs etc...usual price is £45 for the year for as many adverts as you like but we'd like to offer all Downsizer members a free year's trial. I 'spose I should add a sticky in here to tell people.

For forum members the simplest thing to to is come up with some words and a few good pictures and email them to me at tradingpost@downsizer.net Then I, or Bugs, can put them up and drop you a PM for you to review. another good way is to create a post in the Trading forum and let me know and I can cut 'n paste it into the main site.

I also suggest amending your sig line to point to the add or your site if people have not done so.

Hi! We did do some initial research into adding a section for people in France but frankly there was not enough interest to justify the cost of changing the site and for now we wish to concentrate on helping the British farming industry (it needs all the help it can get) and build up our UK membesrship base before any explansion into other countries.
