I am collecting some 4 week old Rheas tommorow can anyone give Me any advice on feeding and possible health issues Thanks!

I can't. I'd probably have tried finding out a little bit longer before I got them though.

They die really easily before three months old. Something to do with mineral and vitamin absorption. If you google, there are a few sites with a lot of info. bernies-girl and hellsbells both have them. I have been collecting information about them for the last year or so before I plunged in to get some on the fly.

I've done considerable research but experience tells Me theres nothing quite like advice from someone who actually keeps a particular animal. As I know from personal experience when friends come to Me for advice on Pigs and Poultry and Training Thier Dogs . So I'm still in the market for peoples personal experiences of keeping Rheas Many Thanks!
