Pretty sure we've got ceps and hedgehogs, spotted from afar by the eagle eyed Arvo!

Confirmation from experts would be much appreciated.

There were a good half a dozen ceps that had gone over too! I've got a spot!

Also found some of those funny mushrooms with nipples on the top, but we left those

They look right to me, lucky you. Funnily I was talking to a fungi expert today in Devon and she seemed to think there were less things like Ceps in the North compared to the South. Glad to see them around.

Need rain here, hopefully no frosts of any significance before then. Had an excellent start to the season for Ceps but I fear the main Autumn season may be over before it's even started (for me anyway)

Edit to add congratulations on your finds Jamamda, perseverance often pays off in the end....

Mostly beech.
