I've just got a new bluetooth mouse, and it has a weird glitch: I cannot use pull down menus any more. I press the little triangle for the menu and it flashes up for only a fraction of a second, and won't come back.
The particularly strange thing is that I can't even use those menus with the on-board pointing device unless I turn off the new mouse. That makes me suspect it is a software glitch; it's on Windows 7, I've not got it working at all on Linux yet.

Obviously I will be having words with the chap who sold it me, but I suspect his English is not so good...

Any cunning ideas?

Try shouting at the bloke or speaking very slowly?

Have you got the latest drivers for the mouse, checked the manufacturers web-site?

It wasn't dear.
And it started working on Linux after I rebooted...

Well that would just be silly. All my mouse recipes are perfectly normal.

And the mouse is working fine this morning.
