Why do you want to add AOL software?

Why on earth would you add that? But seeing as how you want to, do you need a disc? I would google myself but fear becoming entangled in AOL eternal loop system. (And in anycase you probably wants someone who knows what they are talking about.)

Might you consider changing provider? (she asked, tentatively). They are not considered all that great and a lot of other people offer a better service, IMO.

Fair enough, it's what you're used to, I guess.

In that case, how are you getting online now? Can you download on another machine and then copy on to a thumb drive and transfer it over?

You can post on a simple mobile phone but you'll not be able to download anything for a PC.

Hmm.

What about asking on your local freecycle group? *Someone* must have one somewhere. I had loads at one time, but I used them as bird-scarers.

Are we talking a modern CD, say in the last year or two? Or one for longer ago? I don't think I've seen a CD recently, but might have a very old one somewhere.
