Unfortunately I've now ruled out bringing in anything from the South West or Wales until after they've got rid of all the badgers lol They should sell well with all those credentials though!

Hi Alison all I have for sale is listed. This is my entire micro herd that I was intending to build upon in the future, the stock was all carefully chosen and bred. Really worth a look if you are interested.

We don't keep cows now, just bring on bullocks, and slaughter, so we have a winter off, ever couple of years.

Sorry i know this is a little left field but you say your cows do not have TB, even though i think your in an area with high TB!? ( Is that right ) Do you let your cows eat mostly grass (70/80%) and do they spend most of the time outside? Thanks Andy

I am reading a lot about grassland management, its affect on animal health and the food that comes from the animal, meat or dairy and therefore the positive benefits on the health of the person eating it. One of the plus sides of cattle being fed on grass and left outside seems to be they dont get TB.

Hi just to make sure you understand what I initially meant was they are currently TB free. Yes they live outside all year and this year I have opted for good quality haylage over hard feed. However one could argue that the haylage they are fed on could have come from a TB restricted farm who knows but I don't agree that all cattle kept outside do not contract tb as my local farmers will tell you different. These are my thoughts and opinions
