The amount of skill that all these contestants have is truly amazing, speaking as someone who can manage apple crumble on a good day. However one thing that worries me is the number of times they put their hands in their mouths or on their dripping brows or through their hair with the pressure of the situation - and then, although we never see it, back to hands-on with the food. It just looks dreadfully unhygenic.

The world is dreadfully unhygenic, bless. I ate mud as a child and my constitution is on a par with people that get sent money via sms. "only 2 quid to save a child etc".

If only we could all be like you, skipping through the orchard and washing our hands every time an apple chances to fall.

Only joking. How are you OP?

At least they know they are being filmed so they aren't doing anything really gross, like scratching their A***

Professional Masterchef was brilliant Duckhead. Really really enjoyed that - they sent them to Michelin star restaurants to cook, where they were doing all that 'sciencey' stuff. Can you watch it on iplayer where you are?

It seems not. Every time we try it says not available in your country.
I bet a clever person would know a way around it.

There are lots of clever people on here, I paid my licence for donkeys years for crying out loud.

We watch iplayer stuff here in France using something call ExPat Shield https://expatshield.com/

One thing of note though, we can't download emails when it is on so only have it on when we want to actually download a programme.

I dont use expadshield, but a quick google suggests it comes with ads. Apparently, not loading up the suggested toolbar, plus running it under Firefox with the Adblock Plus add-in removes a lot of the ads.

It's the ads that pay for the service.

Really sorry about that. We've always run Adblocker so I was not aware that was an issue
