We watch iplayer stuff here in France using something call ExPat Shield https://expatshield.com/

One thing of note though, we can't download emails when it is on so only have it on when we want to actually download a programme.

I dont use expadshield, but a quick google suggests it comes with ads. Apparently, not loading up the suggested toolbar, plus running it under Firefox with the Adblock Plus add-in removes a lot of the ads.

It's the ads that pay for the service.

Really sorry about that. We've always run Adblocker so I was not aware that was an issue

The mass outdoors, in a tent, catering for the Jane Austen Fan Club in Bath was a bit bonkers last night

Yes, but not quite as bonkers as the weird private dinner afterwards. Had she been invited, I'm sure Miss Elizabeth Bennett would have found it very amusing.

All sorted now! I am a bit over protective of new laptop Have now got used to the ads and turning them off. Last Saturday night was spent watching Masterchef, 5 episodes in a row. We loved it, thanks.

It's a bit addictive isn't it ? So who do you think is going to win? With the last series (Professionals) I chose the winner from the first dish he produced but I am not sure this time.
