Well, not holes, but something to fill an hole, or ten.

I've got ten down lighter holes in my kitchen ceiling that I need to fill. Anyone got a 57mm, or so, drill bit that makes these holes? If so, could you produce ten discs from some 12/15 mm material and mail them to me? Then, I can put them in, and finish with filler.

I'd be very grateful, and I'm even going to offer a pound each, plus postage!

Course, I need them yesterday...

Thank you.

I have a 57mm holesaw + arbor (the jobby it mounts on)....unfortunately the only plasterboard I have ATM is in my ceilings.

You could buy a cheap padsaw and cut the pieces out of plasterboard - you're gonna have to fill the holes anyway so it doesn't matter if not an exact fit.

Or you could use a jigsaw - unless that was cremated.

If you got plasterboard I could post you the holsaw if the jobs worth 2 lots of postage to you. 300g without packaging

Top Tip.
Cut some thin strips of rigid material longer than 57mm. Apply
No-nails, Gripfill or suitable glue to one surface. Insert into hole voids sticky side down to cover hole. Bond a piece of suitable filling material to exposed downside of thin strips. Use fine filler or plaster to finish.
Wait for glue to fully set on thin strips before putting filling piece in and finishing.

That was exactly my plan. The strips are in place, it's just the filling discs I await.

No problem, always glad to share info.
This ones a result of working as electricians mate, and customer(s) changing their mind where they want the lights. Result, some redundant holes.
