yes, yes, do what Nick said... hire a mini digger. We did, and replaced pipe that our arse of a neighbour, (who built the house & refused to tell us where the original pipe lay)...... easy - Kieran worked the mini digger and John laid the pipe.... 3 years later - no problems.

OK then, new follow up question, who knows the best place to hire a mini digger from in South Lincs?
