i just wanted to ask a general question, on a foray recently we came across a patch of clouded agaric which in general i have no problem identifying. however there was one that was odd when looking through them.
it was quite a bit smaller than the others, same grey top, white gills, but the stem was a purple colour. is this due to age or is it likely to be a different species?
