This Spring we are growing a range of Vegetables, Herb and Salad plants as plugs, seedlings or strips and would like to know, what do you as the customer want to buy? Are there things you just can't get hold of? Please let us know either here, or PM us. We really want to grow the types & varieties that people are looking for rather than trying to second guess. Many thanks for your time and help.

John & Rosie.

I am looking to grow a few of the more interesting stuff - have brought a few packets from James Wongs new book - home grown revolution.
I love herbs - normal and unusal varieties.
Also going to try Sapphire, Stevia and Quinoa this year.
Have always liked stuff that is different - try a mix of favourites and a few unusuals

Stuff that's a b*gger to germinate - so my failures last year were sea kale, samphire, salsify, scorzonera (though how would roots transplant?).
Named tomato or courgette varieties.

Some of the more interesting aubergines, peppers & chillis. Some of them are a right PITA to propagate.

Apart from herbs I grow mostly from seeds. But herbs - apart from basil and dill, I prefer to buy herbs as plants - especially the 'woody' ones like thyme, savory, sage, mint, marjoram, rosemary, lavendar. A packet of seeds = too many plants and too long a wait. I hope this helps.

Unusual forms of Globe Artichoke would be good (ie not green globe)
