Did you buy an MP3 player in the end. Be useful if they could talk to each other. |
Still pondering on that purchase too...
How would they talk to each other? |
If, for example you got an iPod and an iPad, the first is an MP3 player, the second your tablet, then both can automatically share things, so photos, tunes, documents, contacts and so on will always be on both. Take a photo with your iPod, it's there on you iPad.
They can talk to each other either by plugging them into a pc and they use a database called iTunes. Or they can use the cloud which is, in simple terms, magic. It just happens, over the Internet.
This might also work between android devices, I don't know.
It will not be as simple if you get mixed operating systems.
So, before you leap in, work out what you want to do, and go play. I would really, rally suggest going, as an ignorant person, to a real apple store. They will run a 'class' for you, free, one on one to show you anything. What you learn can be used to buy whatever. |

Not sure I'd be seen dead in public with you lot.
Honestly, apple stores are great. Really the best customer service in the world. They know they have to cope with old people like us. Go online, find your local one, and look at some of the tutorials. |

I will, if you can hang on until the start of August. We could terrify the shop assistants together and sell tickets for charity. |
