Hi,

Found these on a pile of shavings in a wood near Bristol. Tried all the books but cannot seem to get a positive ID.

Any Help Please.

Allen

They look like Ink Caps to me, but I am no expert. Not safe to eat until you get a positive ID.

Thanks all for the replies. I thought they might be some form of ink cap because the older ones were very wet and black.
